Wasatch Mountain Park, 1281 Warm Springs Rd, Midway, UT situated in the in Heber Valley and close to Park City and is open for summer and winter activities alike. Wasatch Mountain State Park is Utah's most full-fledged highly developed Park.
The Park is in close proximity to cities: Park City, Heber City, and Midway, therefore affording the visitor with access to AAA Four-Diamond resort properties, hometown motels, bed & breakfasts and condominium style properties for lodging and dining outside of the Park.
Wasatch Park sits in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains and offers such winter activities such as snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
The chalet at the Park is a ranch-style building complete with kitchen facilities, and is available for winter and summer group activities.
Little
Deer Creek campground is an excellent area for family camping as well summer parties, reunions and other social events.
Wasatch Mountain Park has a total of 139 camping/picnicking areas, two group-use pavilions, modern rest rooms, hot showers and utility hookups to make your park state a most comfortable experience. However camping availability is limited to the summer months. Other summer activities include, hiking water sports blue-ribbon fly fishing and horseback riding.
The avid golf lovers will be happy with two of Utah's exceptional 27-hole golf courses: Wasatch Mountain and Soldier Hollow.
Wasatch Mountain State Park has a 36-hole facility complete with full-service clubhouse, practice green and driving range, and an on-site restaurant.
The 18-hole mountain course is quite challenging as the players must follow the mountain contours, and get the added delight of seeing the occasional elk, deer, moose, wild turkeys and other wildlife.
The park is opened daily from 8AM to 5PM and closed on
Christmas and
Thanksgiving.
