Since 1985, the National Ability Center has been dedicated to promoting the development of lifetime skills like building confidence, building self-esteem, and improving physical skills. This non-profit center receives financial support from grants, private donations, and special events. Its largest fund raising event of the year takes place in mid-March each year, and is the three day Red, White, and Snow event. If you are planning a trip to Park City during mid-March this year, spend some time at the Red, White, and Snow event to benefit the National Ability Center.
This three day event is a grand celebration of wine, culinary arts, and skiing. One of the highlights of the event is the All Ability Skiing with the Legends event, which brings together world-class and well-known skiers to ski alongside others of various ability levels. You can also spend a day skiing with the legends at the Legends of Ski and Wine, which includes a full day of skiing at the
Deer Valley Ski Resort, as well as lunch and wine tasting at the St Regis Deer Crest Resort. Several other wine events are scheduled as well, including Vintner's Favorites - Library Wine Tasting at the St Regis Deer Crest Resort, the black tie Dinner and Wine Auction, and the elegant Vintner's Dinners held at various estate homes in the area. You can also enjoy Wine on the Mountain, which features the newest releases from such great winemakers as Honig, Raymond Cellars, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Schweiger Vineyards and Terra Valentine.
