Alta offers ski enthusiasts a traditional time of skiing across some of Utah's most renowned skiing location. Located in the Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta is routinely greeted with 500 inches of annual snowfall, with much of it being extremely powdery due to the arrid air. Throughout the 2,200 acre resort guests will find over 100 runs with a varying degree of difficulty levels along with a variety of bowls showcasing terrain covered in trees, steep chutes and more. And for those that would prefer a traditional skiing experience, you'll be pleased to note that Alta strictly prohibits snowboards.
